GPTEngine has a built-in "beautifying" URL system designed to improve your website usability and
make it SEO friendly.
It automatically translates "ugly" URLs like http://<yoursite>/cgi-bin/gpte.cgi?page=member_home into something more convenient, like simply http://<yoursite>/member_home.
Every URL element of your site is controlled by GPTEngine.
For security reasons, directory listing is disabled, so if you want to access a specific element "outside" your GPTEngine installation, the full URL must be used (ex: http://<yoursite>/somefolder/index.html instead of http://<yoursite>/somefolder/).
The folders gpte and gptengine are reserved internally by GPTEngine and cannot by used with the CMS.
