When developing GPTEngine plugins, please follow these guidelines:
Please note that the authors and distributors of GPTEngine are not held responsible for
any damages or lost that may be caused by installing a plugin from a third-party distributor/developer.
- Optimize your code for security and performance. Although the GPTEngine's plugin
API is a minimal, lightweight interface, badly written PHP code can seriously
compromise your program's performance and/or expose your system to security attacks.
- Avoid, if possible, writing to the GPTEngine's database or making any changes to your
GPTEngine setup. Use, instead, a separate file/configuration storage system for your own plugin.
- Make sure all documentation needed to use your plugin is included with the plugin itself.
